I am a Texan, and I really enjoyed getting out to vote last night in the final hour of voting. My wife and I resisted voting early as we wanted to see it on the day of the election. Funniest part: While we waited in a line of maybe 25 people, the Democrat side of the room (the school we voted at had the Republican and Democrate run-offs voting in the same room – a school cafeteria) had only one voter come the entire time. All of us on the Republican side were happy to see that. Everyone in line was anti-Obama, and one even admitted to the mistake in 2008. It was a joyful line.
