Our mission is far from over. I have tried hard to bring members a site they can be proud of. I hope we have that here. We have a new member forum. The old forum is still available for a time. It will be locked down ONLY after it is clear that everyone truly likes the new forum.
It will ALWAYS, ALWAYS be available to view.
You have to re-register if you are a member. Why? New software running the site. The old software just does not talk to the new software.

Hi John…..still valiantly trying to figure all this stuff out. With the exception of a few bugs, it looks good, although it will take a little getting used to. Can’t yet substitute my own picture for the icon, figure out why my name isn’t on the “members” list, or how to write blogs. I guess it will all come in time. Appreciate the efforts, looking forward to more great stuff.

Have read several columns on the internet re Obama’s ‘governance’ – e.g. Larry Elder, Larrey Anderson, Deroy Murdock, Rich Lowry+++ All are not equally harsh on Mr Obama, but they all decribe a politician steeped in power for the good of his group=background or party.. Obama probably feels secure in his present post as President since media sycophants all are licking his backside.. If his huge ‘stimulus’ packages fail to create anything but debt – not likely to be ever paid back – and this is the likely outcome according to an insider like Dick Morris* – then the public will get the impression they were all fooled by the media…and Washington insiders – like they were with Bill Clinton in his first two years..
John Fund’s book on stealing elections should be reread NOW before its author is forgotten..
Most worrying to US voters should be the growing suspicion that BHO was never formally vetted due to missing documentation re his place of birth!! Whistleblower magazine(published in Medford, OR) has several worrying articles in the April issue re this fact – now gnawing at the verity of your nation…

The United Socialist States of America
Is our country indeed moving closer to socialism under Obama? Sure, that’s been the fodder for many arguments by conservative republicans about the democratic party for many years, but now, I’m really starting to think we are. Obama’s stimulus package is just the democratic party’s wish list for bigger government control that has been covered by the shroud of a stimulus package.
Shame on Obama and the democratic congress for taking advantage of the American people during these difficult times when most people are vulnerable because they may feel uncertain or even desperate about their future. Fraud is always a horrible thing, but when you defraud someone that’s more vulnerable, like the elderly or disabled, that’s even worse. So, if you think smuggling an enormous spending package and calling it something else is bad, then doing it during an economic recession and calling it a stimulus is worse!
Although I am a conservative republican, which is why I did not vote for a president last November for the first time in my life since I could vote, I still had high hopes for Obama. I thought that perhaps someone as intelligent and new to the political scene might actually do some good for the country. But as the areas of the spending package where the money will be spent are gradually revealed, I am seriously concerned that our country is headed toward socialism.
The argument against an extreme republican party is that we would still be living in caves, and the argument against an extreme democratic party is we would all be communists has always just come across to me as belligerent facetiousness . Now, I’m not so sure. If we were able to read the minds of many leading democratic leaders, and could find out what their idea of a perfect government might be, would we see that they would have government be in control of almost every aspect of our lives?
This recession and control of both branches of government by the democrats seems to be their ticket to edge the country that much closer to their ideal form of government–socialism. It seems that most Americans are either ignorant about what is happening, enamored by Obama’s charisma, or apathetic about where our country is heading to the point where this time, it might actually happen. For that reason, I am designing a new American flag where in the field of blue, the US congress building sits atop a pyramid of stars representing the government’s control of the states and the state’s financial support of the federal government. The new name is the United Socialist States of America (USSA) with the tag line, “I’d Be Safer in Jail”
If any graphic designers care to create this image, I would be glad to distribute it–perhaps in the form of a bumper sticker, etc.
