The First 100 Days… A March Toward Socialism

Dear Members,

I will be honest with you.  I had a small grain of hope that Barack Obama would rule from the middle as so many hoped.  I hoped that those that made less than 250K would get tax relief.  Or at least not a tax increase.  I hoped that no Supreme Court Justices would give notice of their intent to vacate their seats.  I hoped that Obama would understand that you cannot just close Gitmo without a reasonable plan for keeping the country safe.

I never anticipated that he would encourage members of his party to go after Bush administration officials for giving the best advice they could to the President.  I never anticipated that Obama and his crew would release images of the “torture.”  I never anticipated that Obama would take the eye off the ball of terrorism, and instead put his sites on “right-wing extremists” (like all of you that come to this site!).

I never thought he would ‘gift’ a part of a company to ‘the workers.’  I never thought he would decide who the CEO’s are of the companies who took TARP funds.  I never thought he would think that just about everything should come under state control.

This is a mix of fascist economic model and pure socialism.  It really is.

I know that all 0ur members are shocked daily by what they see from this man.  We have to all develop a plan to stop him by 2010.  He is going to try to do all he can THIS YEAR, as next year he is going to likely concentrate on keeping is Democrat stranglehold in Congress for another two years.

I would appreciate all of your comments.  Let’s stop this man right in his tracks!

Thanks,

John  /  Publisher, NOBAMA.com

John, it’s personal with me, too. I watched people I love argue the Barack Hussein Obama would be the best choice for president. They are intelligent people. And all had different reasons for absolutely backing Obama.
One is a teacher. With the Chicago Teacher’s Union. Enough said.

One is an ironworker, who’s union send letters “urging” their membership to vote for Obama (and to absolutely ignore any prejudices they might have.) This was, of course, because of card check.

One is a young businessman. He and his wife are very politically connected in CHICAGO. These were the two people who were the most smug and arrogant. I finally decided that our relationship meant more to me than who the next president was, so I backed off.

Then, after the election, I wrote, emailed, and called my representatives. I pleaded and then demanded that they not pass the bailouts and the “stimulus” bill, and the bill to fund Americorp. I gave up then, because the Congress is in the bag. So is the Senate. So is the media, which used to be called the Fourth Estate and supposedly a great way to keep the power in balance. This doesn’t feel like America anymore.

Now, some of my retirement money is in GMAC. BUT I DON’T HAVE STOCKS. I HAVE BONDS!! I am small potatoes in a great big pot of mashed potatoes.

But I can’t afford to have even 50% “lost”. Hence the bonds. They were a conservative investment. And now Obama’s mob has stepped in. I am amazed he is continuing to get away with this.

I struggle between trying to keep abreast of what is happening, and totally ignoring it because I am certain there is nothing more I can do. I can’t sit at the computer all day and angst about it anymore. It;s Spring. I garden and boat. (We can’t afford to keep it and run it; and we can’t afford to sell it now. So we sure as shit are going to enjoy it this summer!!!)
Well, thanks for all the good work you do. I will look in on this site, but not as often, I think.

    Sincerely,
    Time to regroup 2008
