Dear Obama, the ‘outrageous myths’ are spoken by you – not your critics

Dear Mr. Obama:
You charge that people are creating “outrageous myths” about your health care plan. There are talks of “death panels” and “abortion mandates.” You claim that your plan does not have these. Yet when one looks at your plan they clearly see a rationing of care, and decision making panels that have control over what care is divvied out. Of course you are going to claim that nothing could be further from the truth. In “your plan” none of this exists. And despite you often spoken commitment to abortion and organizations like Planned Parenthood, you are claiming that nothing will put payment for abortions in your plan.
Mr. Obama, you want all of your words taken as fact as face value. Some of us just do not believe you. What you say in the heat of battle is already proven wrong. You promised that everyone under $250,000 a year would never see our tax increases, and – in fact -would see a tax cut. Where is this tax cut? There was never to be a tax cut. That is all wrong. That was you making promises during Election 2008, and now you are elected so it does not matter.
Mr. Obama, we do not trust you. Let me get to another problem with you and your party. You, your spokesperson and the key leaders in your party lie about the grassroots movement against you. Obviously you never anticipated a groundswell of anger with you deciding you were going to ram-rod your vision of health care through Congress. To mischaracterize the people who happen to believe differently than you do as “paid mobs” is incredulous. You may or may not like it, but there are a lot of people like me that just do not trust you. You accuse of us “outrageous myths.” The truth is we understand you far better than the average Democrat does. We understand what you are capable of. We know that your average supporter is a weak-minded ideologue that does not understand the reality of your hypocrisy. We know all about your “Chicago-style” of politics.
Bottom line: Our facts are going to defeat you. Your agenda is Socialism by another name. Giving it a nice name and chanting “yes we can” does not make it any less socialist. Your brand of health care is going down. The 2010 mid-term election is going to take away any illusion of a mandate. Your voters are going to vanish.
The “outrageous myth” as it turns out is Barack Obama.
