When I see these stories today about Obama asserting Executive Power in ways never seen before, I remember that our own Republicans won big in the 2010 Midterms – and it ended up meaning nothing. The November and December 2010 Lame Duck Sessions were filled with Obama, Pelosi and Reid pushing through their Socialist agenda, while the mainstream media was happily telling everyone that “congress is finally getting a few things done.” What those Congressional Democrats were doing was ramming through all of the items they did not really want to talk about in the election, even though Democrats suffered what should have been a humiliating defeat. Remember, nobody was even sure Pelosi would still remain as speaker. She knew she would, as those Democrat members who were ousted had no say in the choosing of the speaker as the new session started in January.

Here is how huge that election was:

The Democrats went from a Majority in the House of 257 seats in the election of 2008 to just 193 seats in the election of 2010.

The Republicans made up the difference in the House and increased from 178 seats in the 2008 election to 242 seats in the election of 2010

In the Senate the Democrats went from 57 seats in 2008 to effectively 53 seats in 2010.

The Republicans sent from 41 seats in 2008 to 27 seats in 2010. The good news here is so many Democrats are up for reelection to the Senate in 2012, that this does give the Republicans a real opportunity to take the Senate with the right momentum.

What should have happened:

In the real world, Obama should have lightened up on some of his positions and worked with the Republicans. However, being more of a dictator than a reasonable leader, he opted to go to the extreme and push Presidential power to the max. Hopefully a President Romney will give the Democrats a taste of this Presidential power.

Democrats are setting themselves up for the next time they have real power as they had in 2008 for two years. Likely they see pushing for things like “The People’s Rights Amendment” as a way to finally shut down the power of the right (and anyone they disagree with). We will be talking about that one soon. I think they see items like that amendment, FCC controls over the internet pushed very strongly, expansion of gun laws, cutting cash to Republican campaigns through a revised version of McCain-Feingold, and finally limitations on free speech in the name of civility (as they define it).

Get ready. They will exploit any weakness we give them. We have to stand solid and make sure none of this comes to be. That starts with electing Romney in 2012.

President Obama’s fan base is willing to pay through the nose to get a glimpse of him. In fact, supporters in Dearborn, Michigan showed up today to shell out $1,000 just to shake the hand of The One.

“A thousand dollars is a lot of money,” Lonnie Peek, one of the fortunate few to touch Obama personally, told CBS. “But other folks are kickin’ in for their candidates, so what you do is you bite the bullet.

Let’s be clear about this upcoming election.

The liberals see Romney breaking out, and they just have to change the agenda on what is important in this upcoming election.

What did they suddenly decide is so important? Dogs.

Dogs are not really important to them at all. The truth is this is all about creating a total smokescreen over the changes they have pushed on this country, and the left’s ultimate desire to keep building the debt of the country up for what has to be a certain collapse of our currency in an Obama second term. With that instability – and a new, virtual financial collapse – this is exactly what will yield the kind of turmoil and anger that it takes to get Obama his fully Socialist or Communist regime.

I think this is about changing more than that in the second term of Obama. Likely he wants to change the constitution, swap out a couple of conservatives on the SCOTUS, and finally stick it to his critics as he reinvents a way to extend his power well beyond the 2016 election. That’s why we have to stop him now in this election.

Bag to dogs – and puppies:

Have no doubt, Obama enjoyed the dogs he at (“tough” he says).

He even yearned for tiger meat: “He [Obama's stepfather] explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share.” (From Barack Obama’s memoir “Dreams From My Father” – written by ???)

Again – they are creating such diversions that really mean nothing in order to take the average voter’s eye off the ball. Some I know will start crying over Romney’s dog crate on a car, and give him the free pass as a child on the dog food (or dog as food!). I could care less. I am sure Romney’s crate was way less dramatic of an event and was likely done safely. I am sure that Obama did not have a choice on eating dog meat. All of that means NOTHING.

It is about freedom. They want to take more and more of it away. Sometimes I wonder why Obama would be doing so many power grabs before his second election is assured. Does he not realize that all of the new power he has pulled into the Presidency, the Executive Branch and the government agencies he controls will shift to a Republican when he loses? I wondered that, then I saw his conversation with the hot microphone with Russian President Medvedev. Clearly he is totally delusional and thinks he will win without a doubt.

It’s about the economy, too. If we give this man another term, he will destroy everything and turn us upside down. All of the safety nets we have counted on will be doomed, while he never submits a budget and congress never passes one. The default will be a collapse of our country as we have known, with the rise of something Obama has planned on all his life.

This has clearly been his dream for decades. We need to understand this man. He is not good for this country. The ballot box in November is really the last time we can stop much of this. Let’s stop it.

Still pushing for the nomination.

Rick, the party is over. It is done for you. You are cooked, fried and thrown out with the very dirty bath water.

More news for you: You did NOT “almost win the nomination.” There were plenty of people like me who did not choose Romney as their first choice, but would never choose you. It is not a case of doing just a little bit more to get the nomination. You are a nothing, and you just cannot get it.

This on WashingtonTimes.com this morning:

Rick Santorum pulled the plug on his presidential campaign a week ago, but apparently that was after his campaign sent out another round of fundraising letters warning Iowans that the former Pennsylvania senator was frightened by the prospect of Mitt Romney becoming the party’s nominee.

”There’s still time for conservatives if we act now to win this primary to make sure our party doesn’t nominate a Massachusetts Moderate to run against Obama,” the mailer says, according to the Des Moines Register. “It truly frightens me to think what’ll happen if Mitt Romney is the nominee.”

You’re not a “conservative.” You are clearly are a religious zealot that will spend and spend, should you get the inspiration, because it is the “right thing to do.” Guess what, George W. Bush started that rodeo, and it is not a rodeo we want to go to anymore. Barack Obama used Bush’s excessive spending to push us toward possible financial collapse, blaming Bush the whole way. I no more trust you than I trust Barack Obama. I do not ever have to worry about being put in that predicament – because – you are a loser. You lost. Get over it. Get behind the nominee and just shut up.

Comparing yourself to Obama is like comparing a rat to an elephant, with you being that rat. As graphically illustrated in this image, you do not measure up.

Ronald Reagan ONLY allowed taxes to be raised in exchange for greater tax cuts in other areas. Twice Tip O’Neil lied about pushing for specific cuts if Reagan agreed to certain increases that were less than those amounts to be cut. Once it happened twice, Reagan realized that O’Neil could never be trusted again.

Why does lying about what Reagan would have done benefit you? You are a joke in making the comparison.

This from The Daily Caller:

During a 2009 commencement address at Arizona State University, President Obama joked that he’d send the IRS after those who didn’t see eye-to-eye with him. For over 100 tea party groups, his comments are not amusing; they are a reality.

The tea party has had a profound impact on the national political debate, bringing the size and scope of the federal government to the forefront of the American dialogue. As voters increasingly connect with the tea party’s values, President Obama and Democrats have grown concerned about the movement’s grassroots energy. In a “Chicago style” attempt to smother the movement before the 2012 election, the Obama administration is using the IRS to attack tea party groups.

I truly believe that Barack Obama does not think anyone other than him should ‘rule’ this country. Yes, rule, as in total control.

Let’s go back to just before the start of his presidency. The Czars came out of nowhere. Why does a President need Czars assigned to areas of our government where there is already a federal agency that directs policy for that area of government? Before we answer that, let’s look at this history of ‘Czars’ in our Executive Branch. Take a quick look at this page form Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._executive_branch_czars

When you look at that page, you notice Barack Obama’s name dominates. To be totally honest, for some reason George W. Bush comes in second on that list. That is nothing for him to be proud of. There is a right column in the list. Where you see check marks, those are Senate confirmed Czars.

When I look at Obama’s Czars, I think there is a very obvious reason why. Obama does not want the kind of person person the Senate would approve reporting to him on on certain areas our government. Do you remember this story on MichelleMalkin.com by Doug Powers?

That comes from THIS ARTICLE on MichelleMalkin.com. The specific Doug Powers found was in THIS ARTICLE on New York Magazine’s web site. NYMAG.com – of course – did not highlight Obama having not met with a half dozen cabinet members. Obama wants people reporting to him that could never, ever pass a Senate confirmation. You know, like Van Jones, Obama’s first Green Jobs Czar.

This many Czar’s – and Obama’s obvious reason for having them – is more than an insult to our separation of powers. It is a way around that separation, as Obama’s inner circle it totally without Senate confirmation. We have seen how Obama has circumvented laws duly enacted by Congress in years and decades past with regulations from these agencies of his. It is clear that he has no interest in being subject to the Congress – especially now that the Republicans have taken the gavel from Nancy Pelosi.

Here comes the Supreme Court. The SCOTUS ‘insulted’ Obama by striking down the key provisions of the McCain-Feingold laws in the Citizens United v. FEC case. Although our RINO Senate leader, John McCain authored it, that law would basically put Republicans at a huge disadvantage with raising campaign funds while allowing the Democrats to use their massive union base to fill his pile of campaign loot with hundreds of millions. Obama was not a happy camper, and he told the world – just feet in front of the justices at the State of the Union Address in January of 2010. Obama nearly got a “you lie” moment out of Justice Alito. Actually, Alito mouthed “not true.”

“Separation of Powers” to Obama is separating the United States Congress from it’s power to enact laws he does not like and separating the Supreme Court of the United States from their power to rule over the constitutionality of anything he wants. With these separations from power for the Legislative Branch and the Judiciary Branch, Obama clearly believes that all of this power should be put into his hands.

What if Barack Obama WINS in 2012?

God help us.

First – I am sure the Obama administration, through liberal surrogates, will come after one or more members of the Supreme Court to flip it to ultra liberal control. Likely the left will go after Justice Clarence Thomas for not asking questions for six years. If any of the conservatives retire, Obama owns the country.

What about a Constitutional Convention?

Do not think this is out of the realm of possibilities. Do you not think that Barack Obama could engineer a free-style, liberal dominated “Constitutional Convention” that would allow him to come in and essentially REPLACE our United States Constitution?

Do you think nobody on the left is thinking or talking about it? You are very wrong. See HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.

Half of those that want such a Constitutional Convention are on the right. Doing a Constitutional Convention would open us all up to mobs to come in and dominate such conventions. Do not think the SEIU, other unions, the “99% losers,” the New Black Panthers Party, and others on the left would not come in and dominate such a convention. Do you think Eric Holder would enforce the rule of law during such an event if conservatives, Tea Party Members or Republicans were locked out? Don’t count on it.

Our country is about to turn into something we do not recognize. As Obama schemes his way around separation of powers, his real goal is to talk all of our freedoms away. He wants to replace those freedoms with his “fundamentally changed” version of America.

We have to end the Obama administration in this election. Letting this continue will ruin much of the country we have know. More importantly than that, the assault on our freedoms will only grow stronger. They have always shown they wanted to limit speech from the right. Give them another liberal justice or two, and we will have a nightmare of unbelievable proportions.

I started Nobama.com in June of 2008. I never dreamed that Obama could do this much damage to our country, but he did. Now I am more concerned about him take our liberties away. We all know it is coming.

Let’s all vote him out and make sure this ends this year! (With Romney’s inauguration on January 20, 2013!)

I read this in a CBSNews.com article:

“The case for Santorum: Santorum has claimed that he can stop Romney from reaching that magic number of 1144. For this to happen, Santorum would have to win about 60 percent of the outstanding delegates, though importantly, doing so would not give Santorum enough delegates to clinch the nomination himself. It would just stop Romney from doing so. By CBS News estimates, Santorum has won 24 percent of the delegates allocated so far; He would have to more than double his delegate-winning pace.”

Rick Santorum and his minions always suggest that Romney could not close the deal. Let’s be honest: Santorum is the one that could never close the deal. He is the last one standing among several that should never have entered the race. With all Gingrich’s problems, I would vote Newt over Santorum any day. I will soon be voting Romney over Newt and Santorum in the Texas Primary. I look forward to it, in fact. I hear a lot of crying from those that really did not want Romney. Romney is our nominee. Santorum gave it all he has, but what he had was not enough.

What do you think? Are you still a Santorum fan?
