We need to vote with our dollars much more often

It has been a couple of years since I was last active at Costco as a customer, so cutting up the card really has no real consequence other than as a feel good effort. It is symbolic to me of the greater issue where conservatives and Republicans are too open to ignoring the power of their dollar when it comes to corporate political attacks from the left. I hear Hannity say he does not believe in boycotts.  I understand what he is saying there. What I am talking about is less boycott and more spending with friendly, like minded companies.  Or at least companies that have not outwardly attacked the right.

Costco almost certainly cut Dinesh D’Souza’s ‘America’ Book due to its overall political closeness to Barack Obama. They deny this, and you are welcome to give them the benefit of the doubt if you wish. I really don’t care to give them the benefit of the doubt. This action – whatever its cause – comes on the heals of years of support for Obama’s team and its full agenda from Jim Sinegal, CEO of Costco. We need to vote in the business world with our dollars for the companies that support our values. Those that offer strong support to the leftist agenda at the cost of our freedom should get far fewer of our dollars. Those that openly attack us (I don’t consider Costco to be in this category) should be never shopped. The reason I had not used Costco in several years is because I have seen Costco’s CEO in cozy little snapshots with Joe Biden.  I respect that they pay their employees so much better than many other companies do, and that was actually beginning to turn my opinion of them somewhat. I just cannot get over how they truly are in the Obama camp, and their actions seem to back that up. And that’s regardless of whether they fess up to the likely political action of throwing D’Souza’s book out or not.

Just when Lois Lerner thought she was free from prosecution, in steps a real judge

Emmet Sullivan can do it. This from Observer.com: “Judge Sullivan is the judge who held federal prosecutors in contempt, dismissed an unjust indictment against a United States Senator, and publicly excoriated the Department of Justice. He also had the moral conviction, courage and gumption to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the Justice Department andContinue ReadingContinue Reading

IRS Commissioner didn’t bother to mention email backup contract abruptly ended as Lerner issue started breaking

We’ve all seen that IRS Commissioner John Koskinen has a really bad attitude when it comes to anyone questioning what little integrity he has left. Well, it’s just gotten uglier as The Daily Caller has broken a huge story showing that the IRS opted to kill its contract with Sonosoft Email Archiving right as the LernerContinue ReadingContinue Reading

As a university education goes up in price to support mostly Marxists professors, Obama makes the rest of us pay that price

As a university education goes up in price to support mostly Marxists professors, Obama makes the rest of us pay that price

So our beloved President has decided to make a higher education cost no more than ten percent of a person’s earnings after graduation. The absurd part of this equation to me is how much more expensive that degree is as compared to a few decades past. It is so unreal how much debt these studentsContinue Reading
